The official kick off to summer is here, Memorial Day weekend is upon us once again. Most importantly, it is a day to honor the men and women who have died while serving in the United States Armed Forces. Thanks to veterans—both living and deceased—you and I can live our lives in a free country. Being in transportation for 25 years, I love seeing how this industry recruits and hires veterans—especially trucking companies. Some of the larger trucking companies even have a separate section on their websites to recruit military personnel.
