C.H. Robinson Foundation Scholarship: Truckload Carriers
In the transportation industry it’s important to show continued appreciation for trucking companies. If you are in this industry, you know the hard work and dedication these companies put forward. To show our appreciation, I am pleased to announce the C.H. Robinson Foundation’s third year of the C.H. Robinson Foundation Scholarship Program for Truckload Contract Carriers.
The program will award up to 10-$2,500 college scholarships to contract carrier employees—with a minimum of one year employment with their respective company—or eligible students of employees at eligible contract carriers of C.H. Robinson. We are currently accepting applications for the 2015 scholarships. Please visit the scholarship website to learn more about the program and view the 2014 recipients.
By providing these scholarships to our contract carrier community, the C.H. Robinson Foundation is able to support and expand the educational success to contract carriers and their children. “We want to help make sure the cost of education isn’t a roadblock for those looking to take the next steps in their education journey,” said Angie Freeman, president of the C.H. Robinson Foundation.
We encourage those who plan to enroll in a full-time, undergraduate program at an accredited college or vocational school to apply. The scholarships are non-renewable, but students who meet the eligibility requirements may reapply to the program each year.
The deadline to apply is February 15, 2015. We look forward to seeing your applications!
