About the Author

Paul Flack — Vice President, Super Service, LLC

Paul Flack grew up in central Minnesota. He is a graduate of Concordia College in Moorhead, MN. After college, he was hired by Schneider National in Green Bay, WI and worked there for 25 years from 1980 to 2005. In Green Bay, Paul learned the truckload business by serving across a broad range of roles in driver management, business analysis, customer service, and sales. He served as an area vice president of sales his last six years in Green Bay. In 2005, Paul moved back to Minnesota and worked for Koch as the vice president of Sales & Marketing and for Dart as vice president, dedicated division. In May of 2011, Paul joined Super Service, LLC. in Grand Rapids, MI as the vice president of Sales & Marketing. Super Service, LLC. is a “safety-centric” 1,200 unit, dry van truckload carrier serving most of the eastern half of the United States.

We at Super Service, LLC have a disciplined process to both assess our poorest performing freight and take action to fix it or trade it out. We strive to improve the per truck revenue each week. Only so much of that goal can be reached from pure price increases—even in the present unprecedented market. Much of the improvement needs to come from replacing freight— trading out and trading up.
